I live in Washington DC (actually in the Virginia suburbs).
I used to live in San Francisco, and I like the West Coast better than the East Coast.
I have three Master's Degrees; Nuclear Physics, Environmental Engineering, and Biochemistry. For some reason in 2006 decided I had enough time to go to Georgetown Law School at night and get a JD. I mostly did it so I could qualify for a facebook account.
I'm not as bright as you might think from looking at my diplomas.
I'm used to be a consultant for the US Government. Mostly I did counterterrorism and policy stuff related to nuclear weapons. That may sound exciting, but it mostly just involves going to boring meetings.
Before that, I used to work helping the Army properly dispose of leftover chemical weapons that have been sitting around since the 50s. They didn't give me much to do at that job though.
Before that, I used to work for the Dept. of Defense, but I didn't like it.
I don't eat meat, and yes, I consider fish and shellfish to be meat.
I've written two novels, both of which were published and are available on Amazon: City of Pillars, and Adopted Son. I'm have been working on #3 for a while. The 1st draft is done, but I probably won't finish it until after law school is over.
I try to be well rounded, considering that I'm a scientist.
I own a foosball table.
I used to contribute to a DC-specific blog called DC Metroblog
I am not a Republican.
I make two web comics. The first is called www.tinyghosts.com. It's a weekly comic and is creepy and depressing, as opposed to funny.
The second one is pretentiously titled, "Even in the Deepest Heart of Chaos a Glimmer of Order can be Found" That's a daily, and it's made up of randomly generated photos from the internet, with funny captions added by me. It's hard to explain.

Here's the wacky biography that is in the back of my first novel, City of Pillars:
The name 'Chris Peloso' has a Kabbalistic value of 284.
Despite being very well rounded, he is usually obtuse and is rather pointed despite not being too sharp. He holds two MS degrees from Berkeley, and is working on a third at JHU. He knows how to build a nuclear weapon, and has taught classes in the subject at the Joint Military Intelligence College. Due to what can only be attributed to a clerical error, he has been allowed to freely roam the halls of the Pentagon, CIA, NSA, and a few places that don't even officially exist. He is currently developing environmentally friendly ways to dispose of chemical weapons left over from the Cold War. Besides writing subversive novels, his hobbies include; esoteric gnostic religions, hermeticism, tribal art, ethical philosophy, particle physics, environmental extremism, 20th century literature, feng shui, international politics, '80s dreampop, and several other things that absolutely no one else seems to be interested in. Although he sometimes wears black, he adamantly denies being affiliated in any way with the Knights Templar, Illuminati, or the Rosicrucians.
