Chris goes to the Jacobian Cathedral

Here are the 'relics' (bones) of St. Thomas Aquinias. I had no idea that they were stored in Toulouse. He was a pretty important saint. The picture is a little blurry, which has to do with the fact that it is rude to take flash photos in a church, so I had to leave the aperture open too long.

Dave stands in front of an old, painted wall in the cathedral. I thought that the design seemed more like what you'd find in an Islamic mosque.

Here is the cloister.

Famous people were allowed to be buried under the walkway in the cloister. Here is a grave marker for someone who died in 1689.

Here are some pictures of the outside of the cathedral.

Here is the only good pictures I was able to take inside of a church. It shows the extensive paintings on the walls. I'm sure that compared to other buildings of the 13th Century, these churches were a complete wonder.
