Chris Goes to the Grotte Nieux


We got to the town of Nieux a half hour before the tour started, so we stopped off at this church in town. It wasn't as old or as ornate as some of the other churches we saw, but it was nice.


A tombstone in the church graveyard. The caves we saw are located up on that rocky mountain to the right of the tombstone.

Here is the view from the entrance of the cave. You can see Nieux below. You can't tell from the picture, but on the top of that little mountain in the middle of the picture is a small castle. We considered going there, but we didn't have the time. It looked nice from a distance though.
