Here is the ski lift that we went up. I'd never been on a ski lift before. It wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. It also took a long time. You think that it ends at the top of the hill, but it doesn't, it keeps going and going all the way up a much larger hill.

The rocks up here had some really cool colored lichen, but it didn't really come out so well in the photo.

Someone had piled a bunch of stones into a cairn at the top of the mountain. I figured that it was some sort of symbolic thing, like planting a flag, so I put a stone on top too. Dave said it was just a trail marker.
Dave starts the long walk down to the bottom.
There wasn't a trail, so we basically followed a river down. It was much steeper than it looks in this picture.
